We now live in such an incredible "High Tech World" where at some point you will wear a computer on your wrist. Why oh why can't these companys come up with a good laser blocker/detector that can just mount on your windshield???? All this razz matazz of installation in the front grille and running this cord from here to there boggles my mind. Just don't understand why Mr. Valentine, Mr Beltronics, and Mr Escort don't get togethor and make something that is actually worthwhile and "convenient".

I would like to see something to combat INSTANT ON Radar.
This is something we have to deal with in Oregon.
Currently, there is no defense.

Default install photo please

Would you post a pick of the V1 installed near the Z06 650hp label. I would appreciate it.

I decided to go AL Priority Laser System with the Beltronics STi-R Radar Add-On package. 2 sensors in front and 2 in the rear. Blue-Tooth module so I can control the system and get reports from my Android phone.

I wanted totally stealth. I do not want a detector hanging from the rear view or off the windshield.

Now to figure out where the LED will be installed to look OEM???

Will be installed at the end of the week. Pics to follow.

This is what I'm doing and buying the mirror package so the LED will be in my rear view mirror. Extremely cool.

Because I don't like the detector mounted below the mirror, I had a couple of my engineers at work spend some time creating a bracket to place my V1 to the right of the mirror, like I have with my ZR1. As long as I had the interior out for FatMatting to reduce the interior roar of my new Katech exhaust, I figured it would be the ideal time.

We're in the process of doing a bit more testing, but so far, it looks like a winner. Because I know there may be others here like me that don't like the Blendmount option, I'm actually thinking about making a bunch and selling to those that are interested. If so, I'll do it the right way and get a vendor account setup so as to not upset the mods or break any forum rules.

So far, we've got it worked out for the V1 and 9500. It will be fabricated professionally and powder coated black or maybe in whatever color someone wants. Send me a PM if you have any interest, and I can let you know if I decide to mass produce it.

I'm in Washington, same thing here. I just hope I spot them before me! Luckily they don't use it too much here.

That's exactly what I was looking at. Do they have the same looking mirror available that is in the Z? When I looked at it online they looked like older style mirrors, but I wasn't sure if those were just examples.

V1 all the way. Must change settings for false always or its garbage. Advance settings turn x off arrow down & t needs to be off arrow down. Works in my Audi with radar cruise and side assist. No false always.

Did you get this combination installed, if so, can you post up some details with photos?
Thanks

Easily installed and the people who have it swear by it.
It looks like the savvy only controls volume? Also, it looks like it would make the rear view mirror install way more complicated.
