Dumb question but is it necessary to remove the wheels for install?

The splash guards will provide some added protection while you are waiting for the paint protection install. I replaced mine after XPEl only because I didn't have them before. Easy install that does not require tire removal, but as mentioned in an earlier post, does require that you reuse the captured nut from the rears.

I think thy could be a bit larger, they only extend about 1/2 or 5/8 past the stock parts

Mine arriving this week. Lower rear vents have already been chewed up from rocks at 552 miles! As I approached a stop sign today at about 15 miles an hour, I heard dirt hitting the bottom and sides of the car. I looked in my rear view mirror and saw little rocks flying up. Splash guards are a must! Gonna have to order new vent inserts.

They are great and easy to install. I do think they should have put them on the Z standard. And they do fit with all 3 stages. JD
