Z06 monthly payment?
Who has the smallest monthly payment and number of months.
Less interest smaller payment. I was able to get 1.69 interest from a local Credit union. My minumum interest income is 1.75 so makes no sense to pay it off.
I know some guys will pay cash. some have the cash but rather pay by the month. When the cash is earning more.
Not real affordable unless you make close to 6 figures or more.
They you may have other income from interest etc.
After 15,000 down. Price approx 82k
My payment is 1130.00 for 60 months.
Oregon is the best because the cheap cost of owning. Plates and title 280.00 total no sales or personal property tax on cars and thats good for 4 years. If you sell before then it goes to the new owner.

When I was 25, I'm 52 now, I found myself performing CPR on my 52 year old father. He had lived under the belief that you shouldn't go into debt. Save what you can and plan for retirement accordingly. He was almost there. Just a few months away and he died in my arms. I have what many would call " too much debt ". You know what " F That " without putting my family in danger I'm living life as full as I can.

The only reason I haven't bought one yet is bc the astronomical payment.,
40K down is still like $850 a month for 5 years, I think I am going to keep my c6z that is paid off.. No car payment is really really nice.

ROTFLMAO! Had similar experience with my dealer. Was really laughable as told finance dude when I walked in that it should be very quick and then he proceeded to talk about rates he was able to find me based on my FICO!

Only if you can't afford it. At today's interest rates it makes no sense to pay cash financially if you can afford the car. Sure it gives a sense of security and bragging rights, but consider this. Instead of paying cash, $46,000 is borrowed at 1.59%. The stock that would have been sold to pay cash was ~$37 at purchase time last year. It pays ~4% dividend and today's price is ~$51. About a 36% increase not counting the dividend. So instead it is paid out of a total investment return over time to keep the money earning.
If you have the money, whats the difference if you drop $80,000 plus at once or over a period of time if it is invested at a higher return. The difference is you loose money on top of the depreciation you will encounter. Yes, this is one stock and there was a small chance it could go down. But a balanced investment plan will yield much more than the 1.59% in this example. But ya gotta do what ya gotta do that makes sense to you.
This is not directed at you personally although I quoted your post.

Not where I live. If my mortgage would be any where near 1000-2000 I would have two or even Three houses. And my house is only 2700 SQ. ft

You people crack me up.
Saying that $1100 a month for 60 months is too much to pay for a car and then saying that you paid cash is hypocritical. They are the same amount in the long run. You should be saying buying a car for $80k+ is too much for you. Whether you buy it monthly or all at once you are still out the same money, especially with the low interest rates.
Saying it is a mortgage payment really depresses me. Where i live you can't really find a mortgage payment much less than $4000 per month
