It picks up automatically?? That is frigging awesome. Do you need to do anything so it can learn it or literally just start the car and go? Thank you
Actually this is only partially true. If its like in the past and I think it is, unless they have different part numbers for each wheel position, which I doubt.
You will have to use one of several methods to "program the car" to tell the car which sensor signal corresponds to which wheel position.
If you swap out 1 sensor the new position would be assumed so no issue.
The automatic learn sensors are not 100% fool proof. Sometimes it takes several hundred miles for them to learn new positions.
You can manually put the car in learn mode by
Turning the car on...
Setting the DIC to the tire pressure screen...
Then press SEL until the horn beeps and the screen shows learn mode.
At this point you can use a hand held trigger tool to reset all the sensors, or just drive the car while still in learn mode and they should reset within about 10 minutes.
