I toke delivery of my new Z06/Z07 last Tuesday, and today I decided to check out the PDR.
Pushed the PDR button on the home screen, and got a message back....No disk installed! I opened the glove box and sure enough no PDR disk. No PDR disk anywhere on board.
No where in the manual does it mention that the disk comes with the car. Correct? I tried two disks from different camera's, but they wouldn't fit.
Anyone know exactly what type I need to make this critter work?
Yeah, it doesn't come with the card. SDIO card, class 10, has to be formatted FAT32 so 32GB card unless you use a 3rd party utility to format a larger one.
Indeed, the car does not come with a SD card. That is unless you take delivery at the museum. At the museum, they are kind enough to supply you with a 8GB card. I just purchased a 256GB card and reformatted it to FAT32. The PDR now says that I have over 100 hours of recording time. (that should last for a couple of days)
I bought from Best Buy a SanDisk #10 32GB Ultra Plus SDHC UHS-1 card speed up to 40 MB/s 266x around 20 something dollars. I've tested in both valet and regular road use works great.

How many hours of recording time will I get with the 32gig card?
Quote from one of several sources from Cosworth.
"Recording time depends on the capacity of the memory card (not included), but an 8 GB card can record approximately 200 minutes, while a 32 GB card stores up to about 800 minutes – more than 13 hours of driving time."

Also, due to the file size limitations of FAT32, the actual recording time of a single file is about 99 minutes. So, if you are thinking of taking a cross country trip and recording the whole event, the PDR will stop recording after 99 minutes.
