Default Micro Suede Steer Wheel

I have an order for the Kalahari interior with the suede inserts. The steering wheel also comes wrapped in the suede to match. From what I have seen in other cars with this order, all of the steering wheels come in a black color. I assume you can't get the suede to match the Kalahari tan without going aftermarket.

Correct but I like the black better. I feel a light color wouldn't wear well....

With the dark gray interior the steering wheel & shift boot is gray like the door panels.

Yeah, you're going to have to go aftermarket for the Kalahari suede wheel.

As far what is available from GM today, you will have to go aftermarket to match the Kalahari tan. I have a steering wheel on order from AutoDynamicsWest along with a full blown, high-gloss carbon fiber interior.

I am going with kalahari leather instead of Alcantara. Just my personal preference on feel. Don't get me wrong, Alcantara is nothing short of AMAZING, just not on a steering wheel. The steering wheel will be carbon fiber on the the top and bottom of the wheel, Kalahari leather on the sides and the bezel in the center will also be carbon fiber. The horn pad will be Kalahari leather too boot.

I will shoot pics as soon as the interior is installed.

Peep out their website. It shows some shots of their work on the Stingray.

Much sportier in leather, IMO.

Do yourself a favor and opt for the leather steering wheel, who want a bath cloth in their hands while taming the beast.

It does a great job of keeping the steering wheel from slipping in your hands and has a nice feel. It comes on some very high end cars as an option.

Suede steering wheels do feel amazing when new. After a while, not so much. High quality can last a few years but poor quality is toast in 6 months.

I thought all the wheels are the same, with interchangeable parts.
Whats the Difference between the Z06 A8 wheel and the M7 wheel?

We have automatic in stock right now. We have manual ordered but they are not here yet. You may send me an email to gene@cultragperformance.com and I will notify you when I get it in. The Alcantara wheels are $409.99.

To me a quick difference I see is the automatic has + and - on the shifter paddles and the manual have REV Match.

I will show photos of each here.

I have the suede steering wheel on my CTS-V and will never, ever, ever buy another car with a suede/Alcantara steering wheel. When it's new it's great, but over time it becomes super smooth and is IMPOSSIBLE to clean.
