Unfortunately there is no context provided for the 500 lb figure. The ZR1 produces a net lift. Also, the actual downforce amount is dependent on the speed of the airflow. So without knowing the airflow speed for the vehicles in that comparison or the ZR1's actual measured downforce at that speed, it has very limited value.

I have said it other posts that GM(Tadge) is not going to go on record with actual numbers because they don't want to be compared to other cars.
I wonder why GM is afraid of direct comparisons. Look at all the vague responses they give when asked for numbers.
