Default Has anyone else noticed?

OK, so the redline moves up as the car warms up, we know that. BUT... the redline on my HUD moves up slower than the one on the dash tach. When the dash has the redline at 5500, the HUD's redline is at 5,000.

What's that all about?

Does it stay that way or do they even out?

they update at different rates

They do even out. When the oil temp gets above 90f they both read 6500.
