Default Heating Issues

Under Vehicle Care in section 10-23 in the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Owner Manual they talk about the aero panel removing process listed below. Does anyone know where this panel is located and does it pertain to the Z06? I currently have a Shark Gray Z A8 sitting at 4B00 in the lot at BG.

Cooling System (Aero Panel)
The aero panel enhances aerodynamic efficiency and improves fuel economy. Remove the aero panel and bracket to improve engine cooling and air conditioning performance when driving aggressively or in hot weather.

That is the license plate bracket that fits within the front grille. It consists of the bracket and the "aero panel" which is the thin cover that is installed when not using a front license plate.
