Which dealership has the best corvette tech in northern Virginia? And Which dealership do I need to stay away from? Thanks!
I'm also in NOVA. I'm thinking about taking the trip to Criswell. I don't think the other dealerships will be allocated/sell more that 1 or 2 Z06s. I don't want to be the only Z06 a service department sees.
I was thinking Criswell would be my best option also. So what color/options did you choose? I went with yellow M7. If everything goes as planned with the transport company I get mine this weekend.
I haven't joined any clubs yet but was thinking about it, how about you?

I ordered a Laguna Blue, A8 from Kerbeck. My 2005 was a manual, but it was difficult to drive it to work with the traffic on 66.
Car has been built, but still sitting on lot at BG. Forum members suspect there might be some sort of QC hold.
I joined CCA in MD. I dropped my membership when I sold my 2005 several years ago. At that time Criswell was the sponsor. Now I think its Sport Chevrolet in Silver Spring. I was thinking about joining a club that's closer this time. NVCC is sponsored by Page Chevrolet in Alexandria, that will make it easier to participate in the activities.
The clubs should also be a good source for info on where to go for service.
I live in Ashburn, VA. Criswell is too far and inconvenient, unless I take advantage of the Saturday service appointments. I called the closest Chevrolet dealership (6 miles away) and talked to the service manager. He asked me why I wanted an oil change at 500 miles--he hadn't read the latest bulletins on the subject.
I ended up going to Curry's Auto because they have an excellent mechanic that has worked on Corvettes for years. He currently performs service and track setups for at least two other Corvette owners. The mechanic let me watch everything he did and was careful with the car. I supplied the oil and filter, so only paid $28 for labor. Good experience.
Not sure if Koons in Tysons Corner has a good Corvette mechanic.
