Default Tracking #

Dealer said I would not get a tracking number until the factory accepts the order from the dealer and this could take weeks.
Sounds odd to me, but what do I know.
Then two months after order is accepted. So I should have it by May1, right.

I got my order number the week after the order was put in 1100 code.
I was told that confirmed they had an allotment. Four weeks later still at 1100. Dealer stated 8 to 12 weeks for delivery. Maybe someone else will chime in.

Tracking #...... ?

It is an Order Number and once received will have an Event Code associated with it as follows:
Once your dealer receives an allocation for a Z06 then the order will be received by GM (2000). Until then an order number is meaningless and only shows your dealer placed it in their system (1100).

Event Code Explanations:
1000 – Order On Hold at Dealership
1100 – Order Placed at Dealership
2000 – Order Accepted by Chevrolet
2050 – Order Changed
2500 – Order Preferenced (or “Picked Up” or “Imaged”)
3000 – Order Accepted by Production Control
3100 – Order Available to be Sequenced
3300 – Order Scheduled for Production
3400 – Order Broadcast (Internal Plant Order Produced)
3800 – Vehicle Produced
4000 – Vehicle Available to Ship
4B00 – Bayed4150 – Vehicle Invoiced
4200 – Vehicle Shipped
4300 – Intermediate Delivery
4800 – Rail Ramp Unload
5000 – Vehicle at Dealer
6000 – Vehicle delivered to customer - See more at: [url]

You get an order number the second the dealer inputs your order into Workbench. You will have a status code of 1100 (Order Place at Dealership) until such time as your dealer has an allocation from GM and assigns it to your order. At that time you will move to status code 2000 (GM Accepted Order). You want the order placed now to avoid being hit by price increases as just happened.

Go to the National Corvette Museum web site. All the details and booking can be done there.

I received my order # even before they had my deposit. 1-29-2015 ordered, today 3100 dealer says I may have it 1st week of March if production stays on track. best wishes on your order and build.

With your order number the dealer can tell you the status.

Event Code Explanations:
1000 – Order On Hold at Dealership
