Spoke with the salesman at the dealership a few minutes ago regarding the status of my VY Z06/Z07, vin 3108.
The story from him is that the A8's are supposed to start shipping today.
Normally I take what I hear from the salesmen with a big grain of salt. But maybe not in this case; the salesman said that two transport drivers gave him the info as they were unloading a couple of base C7s.
I think this one has a little more credibility since GM/Bowling Green would have to arrange transport with the shippers and the driver's might/should have more info on their scheduling.

Great info. Thanks. good signs that things are moving the right direction.
My dealer called yesterday and said he had a couple of Stingrays sold, built and ready to ship and "hoped" the Z06 would be on the same truck. Not much but after the wait I'll take what I can.
I just got off the phone with the corvette museum in connection with the museum delivery of my Z06 that had a TPW of 3/9 and a status code of 3000 and he told me that no A8's have been delivered and when I asked him if they were being loaded on to trucks he said he did not know. I then asked him to check my status code and he told me it was at 2000. I then went to Chevy chat and they also said my status code was 2000. I have been checking every couple of days and it had been at 3000 for the prior 2 weeks. I did have my dealer ask for a change in the exterior paint color but I do not know if that was even accepted or is the reason for the change in the status code. I would be surprised if it was since the exterior color is not a change in any parts. I am wondering if anybody else checked there status code today and get a change. I also called my dealer just now and the person I needed to talk to is out until latter today.

Similar thing happened to me when I added CF dash and a change of color to red interior. Went to 2000 from less than an hour at 3000. Was back at 3000 in a week and it turned out I got the first A8 on the forums registration. Production completed 1/16. So long story short don't sweat it as long as you are at 2000!
