Has anyone that has had a NCM delivery got a "ball park" on the time table for delivery. We're scheduled for a 7:45 AM delivery. We have passed on the Assembly plant VIP tour (kinda redundant after taking the Buyers tour) but will go on the "Behind the Scenes Museum tour". I'm assuming the NCM tour takes place first and then there's the documentation (bill of sale, taxes, license, etc.) with the "indoctrination" by the NCM delivery person, before we take possession of our Corvette. We want to be able to let our friends and family "tune in" on the webb and watch our delivery. Don't want to get our West Coast family and friends up at 5:45 AM to watch if we don't get to the Corvette Blvd. untill say 10:00 AM BG time. Any help or advise from the learned? Thanks Ron

This is the way my delivery went. Paper work was first, took about an hour. Next we had a few minutes to go over the car (mainly because We were there about a half hour early). Next we did the factory tour (about 2 hours). Came back to the Museum, ate lunch. Next we did the Museum tour ( about 1 hour depending on how many questions you ask). Then we finished going over the car. The whole process took about 6 hours, but without the Factory tour yours should take about 4. There were 3 other owners picking up at the same time we were and the only time we were with them was during the factory tour. So there is variability to the schedule. Hope this helps. Congragulations on your new Corvette!
Hello, maybe you can help answer some questions I have about the NCM delivery. Can you tell me about the process? In relation to the TPW date, mine is Mar 16th, when did you get contacted about setting up your deliver date? For example, one week before or the week it was produced etc? Also, what type of scheduling window do they offer? I travel for work a lot so concerned that the window of opportunity maybe too small. I heard two weeks but will they go longer if needed? When do you need to provide what you want on the badge that is in the interior? Who makes contact with me the dealer or NCM? Anything else I should know or think about when they contact me to schedule delivery? Thanks.

Congrats by the way!!
My car was built on a Friday. Shane from the Museum called me the following Tuesday to schedule a date. The earliest one they offered was 17 days after build, two weeks from the Monday following the Friday build. Like you, my work schedule can be difficult so that didn't work for me. We finally scheduled it 4 weeks after build, and they didn't seem to mind delaying it.
As for the badge, they will contact you about 2-3 weeks prior to your build. There is a form your dealer sends in that you fill out to tell the Museum staff your request for the plaque wording. Shane Webb sent me an email with the form attached, and I printed and filled it out, and gave it to the dealer to send in.
On the recent posted Museum delivery video, they showed them driving around a track. Is this part of the delivery, or what?
It is not part of the delivery, but can be arranged with the Motorsports Park staff, unless of course, the track is under a foot of snow, like yesterday, when I took delivery.

We drove down I-65 to Nashville, and then spent the night. The roads were pretty clear, and we were parked at the hotel by the time a late afternoon snow shower started. Today, we drove from Nashville to Northern MS (Memphis suburb.) When we left, the temperature was above freezing and it was raining. We hit a lot of slush on the local streets, but the highways were mostly clear. All we had to deal with was a lot of rain. Obviously, temps in the 30s and low 40s did nothing to enhance traction, but as I don't have Sport Cup 2 tires, it was not too bad. Obviously, I kept the car in Weather mode the whole way and pretty much stayed at the speed limit or slower. As this is going to be a daily driver and GT type car, I'm not worried about it getting wet.
Harley2, sounds like we may be picking up our Vettes on the same day. Ours will be the black Z coupe, Kalahari, pearl silver wheels. Weather reports say overcast but no rain or snow. We are staying in BG Tuesday night and heading to NOLA on Wed. Wednesday's weather is supposed to be clear. Here's hoping we both can make it home without incident.

The NCM has "one way" agreements with Enterprise from the Nashville Airport. You may check with Enterprise in Missouri and see if they can do the same for you. Just a suggestion.
I also have a TPW of 3/16. I expect sometime in april to do the museum delivery. Not sure on exact timing.
Since I'm getting a Z07 I'll be looking to get the tires swapped out ASAP.
As mentioned in this thread, a TPW of 03/16 means your car should come of the line somewhere between the morning of Monday 03/16 and the afternoon of Friday 03/20. There is a possibility it could come of the line the previous Friday. I had a 01/26 TPW and my car came off the line on Friday, 01/23. The Museum will contact you within a couple days of completion, and offer you a delivery date. It is normally a minimum of 14 days after build date, a mandatory QC hold for Museum cars. They will work with you to schedule a date when you are free and they have an opening. My two deliveries have been 23 and 28 days after the build date.

Fuelie, You live in NOLA? Profile is CA? Or just coming to New Orleans traveling? I'm picking my Crystal Red Kalahari, 07 pkg, A8 March 6th Museum delivery.

You are right, we live in CA (Northern California to be semi-exact) but we are taking a southern route home. We have family in NOLA so it (the NOLA visit) works out nice. I have set up an appointment at Ross Downing Chevrolet for my 500 (ish) mile oil change. It's about there that I'm expecting that "red line" to move up for more frequent applications of the "loud" pedal.
