With all the crappy weather in BG were they able to ship any Z06/Z07's this week?

Yesterday I was notified that my dealer had received my invoice, I went to the dealership last night and paid for the Z06. The shipping date on the invoice suggested February 18, the height of the snowstorm. Obviously,The shipments were delayed as a result of the weather, as of today, my car still sits in Bowling Green.Since the dealer received the invoice yesterday, we expect it will arrive early this week

Good news, but I have a question (below).

Last Thursday, my sales guy told me "The car was released and we were finally able to print the invoice, I am guessing that it was a random car they picked for a quality inspection. Right now do (sic) to the weather it is still in Bowling green waiting for pick up once the trucks can reach there."

I have been looking at the BG weather, I'm expecting to see it early next week.

However, I'm not paying for it until I see it and examine it.

Why would you pay for it sight unseen?

Not if it's being delivered to the selling dealer. If it's a courtesy delivery, and you insist on an in person inspection, it will delay the process several days. For a Museum delivery, you must have a valid bill of sale to pick up the car.

Ate lunch at the Wendy's on Duntov way on Friday after our Museum delivery, I saw at least three truckloads of vettes get on I-65. That's 33 cars in the space of a half hour.

Primarily the reason I paid for it in advance, was that they are a local dealer I have dealt with before, I believe they are a forum supporter ( top 10 dealer), and to expedite the PDI process. They have eight A8s on the way to Louisiana, don't think I can stand waiting in line😉
