The turquoise GT3 actually looks kinda cool. That wing or whatever on the *** end is pretty retarded and very ricer.

still prefer the 997.2 GT3 RS (available in manual)...although this new car will probably be the best handling car on the planet.

Same size wheels as the 918, and still cups:

I like the thicker sidewalls. Provides more cushion & flex.. and allows more control over bumpy surfaces. One of my complaints about the Corvette vs Porsche is that the Vette always feels skiddish on rough/dry pavement, while a Porsche feels planted on any pavement and in wet conditions.

Porsches have way more feel & driver feedback. Dont get me wrong.. I'm still a huge Corvette fan and find most new Porsches are outside of my price range, but the 911 & Cayman platforms are both well deserving of the praise they receive worldwide.

I'm old enough to have heard, and seen, the oversteer horror stories! I'm liking what they have been doing!

And lets not forget the ZR1 and MR really put the screws to them (and others!) IMO.

And I still have to wonder if Porsche has it figured out which car is fair to bring to the track against the Z07?

I believe the coined operative words in the phrase for that car is thinly veiled race car!

And likewise for the ACR!

I was thinking the a fully optioned Turbo S with Cups would be more in line! Porsche said 7:20 with that set up!

Come on TA!

That has never been true of the rear engine porsches. The better tires of today mask a lot of what that chassis wants to do in a corner. At the limit the physics of the engine hanging out the back of the axle always shows up. The old 944 handled much better than the 911 style. I guess you could say chev copied the transaxle idea from the 924/944. Here comes the hate. HA HA.
