Default Difference between standard and options

Although I ordered the crossed-flag wheel caps (5ZG) and the underhood liner (VTE), I'm not exactly sure what the difference is between those and standard equipment. I think the standard wheel caps are also crossed-flag (although 5ZG may have a carbon background), and I think there is a standard underhood liner, so I really don't know what VTE is.

Likewise, although I didn't order the custom sill plates (V8X), it appears there is a standard sill plate on the car. What's the difference between the standard sill plate and V8X?

(5ZG) LPO, Carbon Fiber wheel center caps with crossed flags logo, Genuine Corvette Accessory. It is "A/D" on all equipment groups.

These are all Stingray options but this is a Z06 section.

My order is a Z06.

Ok then I'm confused because VTE is a Stingray option?
VTE LPO, Underhood liner with Stingray logo. Genuine Corvette Accessory

The standard wheel caps are black with a crossed-flag logo. You ordered carbon fiber with a crossed-flags logo.

The standard hood liner is embossed with a "Z06" logo. You ordered one with the "Stingray" word logo -- according to the Order Guide that is not an option on the Z06, rather an option on the Stingray. You might want to check to see if it will fit properly with the Z06 hood.

V8X is a sill plate with a "Stingray" logo. The Z06 comes with a sill plate that reads "CORVETTE".

Do you really intend to label your car a Stingray? All three options are dealer parts that are dealer-ordered and dealer-installed, so they can be ordered later.

As to the VTE underhood liner, it was accepted on this Z06 order by Chrevrolet, which is puzzling if it's not in the Order Guide (It was an option on the Online Configurator). I guess I'll have to check with my dealer (good luck with that, I suppose) to see if it knows how this works on a Z06. Thanks, everyone, for the input.

It shouldn't be puzzling. VTE is not a factory option and the factory has no idea that you ordered it. These are all accessories that are internally ordered as dealer parts and installed by the dealer. That is the meaning of an "LPO" accessory. If you want a car cover or a hood liner for a Stingray you could probably add it to a truck order because it's something you are ordering from the dealer's parts department rather than from the factory.

Your dealer should have caught that. But you can cancel it anytime I'm sure.
