Hope you can help. I have a z06 / z07 getting built 3/9 very excited more than words I have noticed the grey wheels I've seen have had a Crome edge around the edge of the rim I'm hoping that's not the case I ordered grey instead of black because I thought it matched the car better but I don't like that Crome edge any info on this ? Thanks in advance
IMO, the machined aluminum edge on the Spectra Gray wheel gives it an after-market look. I was looking at a SG Z w/Z07 that had black wheels and it was stunning. Absolutely never thought I would say that about a car with black wheels.
I, too, dislike the machined lip on the grey wheels, but don't want the black wheels, either. My solution will be to order the basic wheel ($0) and have them powdercoated to some sort of grey. (maybe even Spectre) All done, I'll not have spent much more than the black wheel price and I'll have exactly what I want.

I have those wheels with the machined lip and am not a fan. Didn't realize they would come that way when i ordered way back when before good info was available. Looking for set of all black now but still unavailable on GMpartsdirect. Sooner or later....
I'm thinking about having them power coated red, I've seen a couple pics and I think it looks wild., especially with the red calipers and red interior . I have to check the area here for someone who does that
It's surprising how much lighter those look sitting in the back of your truck. I was about to say they were the Nickle wheels, but then when I saw the machine edge and deleted that thought. I LOVE the Spectra Gray wheel!

I'm also not a big fan of the machined lip. It looks a bit aftermarket to me as well. But, I like the wheel color better b/c it shows more detail than black.
