Wicker Bill Installation Help Needed

Any tips on installing the four rubber grommets during the wicker bill installation? Grommets are numbered for specific location and are to be mounted on backside of the wicker bill, but grommets do not stay in place. What am I missing. Thanks.

Have the instructions, but the grommets won't stay in place. I'll try a small piece of dbl face tape.

Thanks to those that responded!

Got it! Used short thin strips of 3M trim tape at tops and bottoms of grommet groove to hold grommets in place until bill was fastened with screws. Worked great.
