I am annoyed with the center console USB defaulting to "iTunes" library when plugging in my iPhone 6.
Even if I open Spotify manually and click play it stops after a few seconds and then reverts back. After doing this a few times it eventually responds and stays on the Spotify stream.
Is there any better way to get around this? I know Pandora is integrated in but I prefer Spotify and cannot seem to get it to play on the first, second, or third (sometimes) attempts. Finally, it will stay on and work correctly.
Is there an iPhone or car setting I need to toggle? This is only on USB not BT.
Bluetooth is the solution. This has always been the case with iPhones. Plugging in via usb has roots to the original iPod where the only media was local.
I see that it defaults to that. I just don't get why it doesn't accept the first override but will eventually take it.
Also, I was hoping there was a setting I could change somewhere to avoid this. Obviously the quality is not the same on Bluetooth and it doesn't charge.
Same thing happens with my C7.....Annoying as hell! Also sometimes when I turn on the Waze app, I'll lose BlueTooth connection and won't be able to reconnect until I turn the car off and restart it.
I have a similar problem in my C7, I use Spotify via bluetooth. At times it will show that it is connected to the car, the song data and even playing on the screen.... track length is moving, but no sound.... Has anyone experienced this?
The only way to get it to work is to disconnect the phone via the car's screen and then reconnect and it acts like it never happened.
