While this is almost a mute point, my new ZO6 with Z07 is being built this week with the new 8 speed. I have not seen anything regarding gas mileage on the new tranny and the Z06. Any one have any feed back? I currently have a 2104 C7Z513LT auto and am amazed at the gas mileage and performance on this vehicle. Some one is going to get one hell of a trade in.

I too had a C7 Z51. I made a trip to get some break in miles on my A8 Z06. I showed 27 mpg running in eco mode and taking it easy over a 50 mile period. The same trip in my Z51 breaking it in was about 29 mpg. I'd guess it's 2-3 mpg worse than a Z51 Stingray if you're just rolling down the highway at 70 mph. The Z06 does not seem to drop into 4 cyl mode as much as the M7 Stingray did when cruising in 6th or 7th.

That being said, now that it's broken in I will never take it easy long enough to ever see 27 mpg again. When you open it up the gas gauge moves fast enough that you may feel a breeze from it!

Converting Raw fuel into Horsepower is what it does best.

LOL @ Hot Rod Todd

I've seen a few posts about mileage and hope to have some info soon. Kept records of the V6 Mustang DD and my A8 Stingray I just traded in. Will do with the A* Z as well!
