Default Scraped front splitter

Just scraped my front splitter! Man, been so careful, pissed off. Good news is only I will know it. Anyone else in this club yet? Please, it will make me feel a lot better if I have some company.

car is in the showroom still...waiting on CFV pkg - i'm sure, given my local roads (just outside new york city) i'll be in your club soon -- fear not though, after a while you can just replace it....(if need be)

Nope, not lowered. Just a very benign driveway coming out of the bank. It's my DD too, so it's not like I'm not used to it. Good news is it is underneath. Still pissed though.

I scrape everyday on the way out and back in on my driveway. It's about 10% shaved off already. The first one I'll drive until I can drive it no more. If it lasts 2 years, I'll get a new one every 2 years. Simple.

I don't have my Z07 yet, but I think I'll use this on the underside of my splitter. Might help.

You'll forget about it and stop caring after a couple days. Popping the scrape cherry is painful, but you quickly stop caring (at least I did).

I do it every day pulling out of the driveway. Road rash underneath. I imagine 90% of us will have the same experience.

Personally did NOT go with Z07 because I tore up everything with my 2010 ZR1 and got tracking more or less out of my blood.

Yep 3 times so far. Damn Florida storm gutters are killer.

None can be seen without getting on the ground, but it is painful.

Like others have said, you get over it eventually.

Take the carbon fiber one off and install the Level 1 plastic splitter for daily driving... Then it only costs you $100 if you really tear it up..

I am in the club. Scraped a little on the aero 2 package. Only I would know. Put a little JB Clear Weld over the scrape.

this is why folks should think hard before checking the CFV option. CFZ can at least be repainted carbon flash should you scrape them...unless money is no object to you, it can get expensive real quick replacing CFV ground effects. Just ask ZR1 owners...

By the time the curb or street surface gets to the roller, it's too late!
