Yeah, I agree 11.2 isn't too bad. I just got back from the track and it was an interesting experience. The track (Little River Dragway TX) is only an 1/8 mile track. It was the first time I've been to this track. I had a very hard time getting the tires to hook up. The track was better early on and seemed to get progressively worse as the night went on.

I have an A8 with Stage 1 stock. Ran on PSS tires and the best 60' time I got tonight was 1.74 which ended up at 7.20 for the 1/8.

Track got worse as the night went along. Was running in Track mode with traction control off and it was losing traction every launch. Tried with traction control on and best I got was 2.09 60'. I also tried to use launch control twice to see if it would help, but must have did something wrong. I had it in the correct setting but he car lurched forward to deep stage both times when I applied the break and pressed the gas pedal, so had to back out and re-stage. After two warnings, I didn't try that any more as the starter was getting pissed.

There was a new Hellcat there tonight also on street tires and her best time was of the night was 7.5. When we went head to head, she only got 2.14 60' time and 7.79 in the 1/8. So it looked like she was have the same problems with traction as I was and got progressively worse as the night went on as well. I lost traction big time on that run and backed of just after 60' when it started to pull to the side a bit too much, so you could say I got beat by an old lady in a Hellcat.

Even though the traction wasn't great tonight it was was still a blast. I seems I still have lots to learn about this car. Will be going back in a few weeks with a friend that just bought a new GTR. Need to wait for him to put 1200 miles on it for their break-in period.
