Attention Magnet
I am a little surprised by the amount of attention this car garners. Every trip I make, I find people taking cell phone videos, staring or opening windows to give thumbs up.
I had it at a go kart track today where generally people are into motorsports and many have more than enough money to buy this car or even nicer, yet I constantly found people stopping to look, stare and take pictures. Don't get me wrong, I think it's a cool car but wow, the amount of attention it gets is blowing me away.
It won't be too long before they become much more common place but for now it's like people spotted Elvis or something. Kind of funny.

I find it difficult to drive on the highway when cruising because so many people are amazed by the car. They sit in blind spots and often make it hard to change lanes unless I drive more aggressively. Not complaining or anything but man...

Yep. Had a guy almost hit us because he was beside us on highway and we were both going around 65 or so mph.....he came into our lane by quite a bit. Luckily I noticed it starting to happen and floored it. My son was in the passenger seat and said the dude was videoing us and not even looking at the road.
I knew this car would be dangerous but never thought it'd be in this way!

I agree. I think the problem with those years is they made way to many c3's, and eventually trickled back down. Love my c3 just as much as my c7z, but there's tons of them so just doesn't get the looks the z does. Now my '63 gets just as many head turns as the c7z...but those mid years are just as rare or more so than the new z.
At any rate,the z sure is fun to drive!
