Default **Prototype Testing on LMR Cold Air Induction System**

Our filter design is quite unique compared to others on the market already. I will be able to share more information as we get more data on the system. Our goal is to produce a system that looks nice under the hood and of course also performs for customers looking for a little extra HP under the hood from a simple bolt on. We are trying to make it as user friendly as possible so your average Corvette owner can install in his garage with just a few simple tools and go.

Do not have a set price yet, but we will definitely be competitive if not better than cost on units from other manufactures on the market presently and those who plan to release there systems soon. Hopefully we can share some nice results by the end of the week.

We have so many Zs in the shop that are currently modded. We are scheduled to take delivery of two on Monday for package installs that we will be able to test in stock form and hopefully share the results sometime next week.

Will these just be for Z's or will you have them available for LT1's too?

Looks pretty good but I would like to see more of the air intake, i.e. filter/flow ratings, etc.

Default Looks like a cleaner & simpler setup than the other CAI's

Any Updates?

I see in the pic that you used some of the OEM tubing which I think is a good thing.

I will gladly cut my tubing and add your parts if you would like someone (who goes to the track) to try it out.

Our Specialists has spent the last year developing a new intake system for the 2015 Corvette C7 Z06. Our cold air intake is designed by racing engineers who sought to provide the most performance available for high horsepower Corvettes, and still maintain OEM functionality.
By using quality workmanship and premium components our cold air intake is an OEM grade product and provides more horsepower output than any other on the market.

This result in the retail customers getting the most horsepower per dollar invested, more “Bang for the buck”.

Corvette cold air intake system:

Our intakes are all about improving airflow to your Corvette’s engine. It’s just a matter of superior design. Better airflow translates into a noticeable increase in power, acceleration and most importantly without engine modifications.
But to experience the ultimate gains in power you may want to add modifications (i.e., tuning, cylinder heads, camshaft, headers, exhaust, etc.) that will satisfy horsepower output demands with the higher airflow capacity of the Air intake.

Research & Development

During our testing, we first measure the restriction of the airflow through your vehicle’s original induction system in order to establish a baseline. The goal of a performance intake kit is to reduce the restriction of the airflow to your vehicle’s engine. In layman’s terms, we want to make it easier for the engine to breathe.
Our unique filter design allows a more direct flow path and increased air volume into the engine.
By reducing the restriction of the airflow, your engine will have better throttle response and produce more horsepower and torque. Therefore your engine will not have to work as hard to produce the required amount of power – the result is faster acceleration and power on demand.
The addition of any engine modifications (i.e., cylinder heads, camshaft, headers, exhaust, programming, etc.) that increase horsepower output will demand the higher airflow capacity of the cold air induction system.

Back it up with test results:

Airflow test results for the C7 Z06 Corvette showed 40% more airflow than the original factory intake system.
Our dyno test on a C6 Z06 equipped with headers and a tune, indicated an increase of 45 rwhp gain.
Similar gains can be expected on stock C7 Z06 Corvettes with a recommended engine tune with our system for peak performance results.

C7 Z06 Intake Features:
• Custom high-performance plenum isolates the intake track from engine heat, drawing in cooler outside air to boost engine performance.

• Exceptional CAD design streamlines airflow (laminar flow) and reduces turbulence, allowing the engine to ingest more air, increasing horsepower.

• Unobstructed direct air flow into the air intake

• OEM-grade polymer remains unaffected by under-hood temperatures.

• Premium stainless steel quality hardware used throughout for extended durability.

• Simple to install, all OEM engine management sensors and vacuum lines remain in place.

• Largest filter surface area, 142 sq. in. compared to 119 sq. in., than any competitor

• Filter is manufactured of premium cotton gauze to maximize airflow and filtration.

• Quick and easy drop in installation

• 35+ HP gain over factory intake in real world driving conditions.

For any questions, please do not hesitate to pm/email or give us a call at the shop anytime. We are here to answer any questions you might have. Remember, the C7Z is our prototype version, so shipping wont be available for weeks while our standard C7 system is on the shelf and ready to ship.
