Default Advice Needed

I purchased a Z06 last week. I picked up on Tuesday in GA and drove 30 mins down the road to Vengeance Racing for a tune and intake (thanks Ron for working me in) and then brought back Wednesday around 5pm for them to ship to me in TX. The dealer shipped on Thursday at 12 per bill of laden. I was told it would be to my place by Saturday at the latest (I shipped an M3 on trade and it only took 2 days to get to the dealer). Well its Tuesday and I do not have my car, the delivering company has not called me with an ETA, the dealership has told me that its on an enclosed trailer on its way to me but that's it. The dealership has put in writing that its "bs" that it isn't here and unacceptable but they have offered me nothing in return for such a delay nor will they refund me the cost of shipping. What would you do in this situation? Is it worth getting my legal team involved? Call GM and get transferred to the customer service in the Phillipines?

Did you pay by credit card? If so, dispute the payment with your CC company and let them fight it out. Beyond that, I would threaten a complaint to the BBB.

I hate to do that but I will probably have to. This is a large dealership in GA and I would think they would make it right with their Z06 buyers.

Normally that would be easiest and most efficient way to solve problem of at least knowing where my car is, but I haven't even heard from the shipping company.

yeah I did the first time they called me back promptly and I was told they were delayed picking up a Rolls Royce and that they would leave the next day. I called the dealership after that to see what they could do by calling the broker who hired the transport company and nothing. Since then I have called and emailed the transport company Kingdom Transport and no call back or answer to my email. Dealer will only say its en route.
The customer service email is dareal5@yahoo.com. Sounds like a professional company for sure, LOL! The other part is the phone number is out of St Louis even though the business is located in Roswell, GA.

yeah it figures.

It only took 2 days for my trade to be delivered to the dealership. The dealership didn't have to put up with this and I wonder why I have to. Last time I deal with Rick Hendricks in Duluth that's for sure. I cannot believe they would hire a company with no website and a customer service email of dareal5@yahoo.com.

Call the driver, my driver called me 24 hours before delivery.
Real happy with my Hendrick's delivery, but I set up the shipping.
Atlanta to Sacramento in 4 days. What amazed me the most was how it went in on the bottom and came out on top!
Shhh, here's the secret, it's a different truck.... the 2nd truck had a wireless remote for the rear gate.

Looks really cool and the AW is awesome for the Z06. The guys at Rick Hendrick, Chris and Shon are good and I have enjoyed working with them. The dealership using a transport company that doesn't communicate, cannot deliver in a timely manner, the dealership not knowing the location or ETA of my vehicle, etc is why " I am out" as they say on shark tank. The buying experience was fine its the after and delivery that's been troublesome to say the least.

Did the dealership arrange the shipping or did you? If it was the dealership, I would call them and tell them you will be calling the police to report the car stolen. If it was you, i would call the shipping company and tell them the same thing.

The dealership arranged shipping. I hope it doesn't come to that point. I know that there are people on the forum that know them and there Corvette specialist Chris is on here too. I hope they call me today if not I may have to. Onstar said that's the only way they could give me the location of the vehicle.

Still haven't received my z06. I have spoken with driver and it's enough route. So at least I am hoping to see it before the weekend.

If you don't mind me asking, why did you buy a new car and immediately void the warrantee? Do you have that much faith in GM that you believe there is almost no chance of getting one with an engine, transmission problem that might take a month to show up?

Not trying to give you a hard time it just seems like a big gamble.

Hope you car is perfect and you have no problems

Thanks for the question. For this car I had an intake put on and had Vengeance correct the timing problem my car had from the factory. There was another 20rwhp I left on the table by having them make the car's tune safe AFR around 12.2 and timing we backed out 8 degrees. I am more concerned with the guys pulleying down on the blower and blowing seals as they did on the Stingray when they started adding blowers. In the near future I will probably have a cam and meth in my Z06. I understand your point of view but I purchased this car as a strip and track car. I have a daily driver.
