I live in South America but am moving back to USA , I have a Z06/Z07 Convertible on order, however, I was going to buy it cash as I was thinking of shipping it to South America, but now that I am moving back to USA I am wondering if leasing would be a better option if it exists at all.
Does anyone here lease or know of anyone that has leased a Z??

Thanks for your time.
IMO. Never lease. I would feather own my Z and drive as much and do what ever I want to do with the car. If you return the leased car with a scratch, rubbed rim, eat. You pay a bunch. Own it outright, drive it like you want, mod it as you wish, and then sell it at whatever price you want.
I would lease if I could of got one with terms ( as in a good rate). you negotiate the price as you do with a sale. I see it as buying a $100 dollar T-shirt. You put $14 down pay $1 month for 36 months. Then you decide if you like the shirt you pay or finance the balance $50.00 or return the shirt for a new one without the stains or wrinkles, or as i have in the past is to sell outright, I have sold some T-shirts to Carmax and had cash left over . Another benefit is you pay the tax as you go and not all up front

It would be a nice option so you could get a new Corvette every three or four years (which is what a lot of guys do anyways!), from my understanding leasing in the Porsche world is pretty common.

Leasing makes sense, particularly if you file a schedule C (business schedule) where you can deduct a portion of the lease payment, gas, tires etc
I checked into leasing as an option and there are no lease programs being offered at this time. You could do it through GM Financial, but it will actually cost you more to lease the car than to purchase.

Exactly it's a terrible deal, wouldn't make any sense.
As was stated above, negotiate the lease separate from the car purchase, and know how to calculate the time value of money because the lessor will not give you the APR equivalent.
I rejected a good appearing lease because the true APR equivalent was much more than financing.
On another case I leased at a reasonable rate and at the end of the term I was able to buy the car )s stated in the lease) at $5K less than the average wholesale.
I sold that car after 13 years and 169K miles for the drive train Great car, good finance deal with a lease.
That said, I don't know of any good lease rates on the new Z06.
I have leased a few rides and it worked out great for me at the time. I checked into leasing the Z just to see what may be out there. I was told by two large dealers on this forum currently no leases on the Z06. With the low interest rates use the banks money to purchase. I have seen as low as 1.7% up to 72 months at my credit union. You may even find better rates. Good luck. My leased CTS V coupe is going back in 3 weeks, first time ever sending a ride back after a lease, I usually sell or trade out. I will order a 2016 Z next month unless a great deal pops up on a 15.

Fortunately for Porsche, they have no need to incentivize their leases, which unfortunately for the consumer results in dismal money factors and poor residuals that make leasing not that attractive.
I checked into it also. There are no leases avail that I know about yet.
The reason was that since the car is so new no one has figured out a residual value.(cars too new and don't know what it will sell for used yet)So they can't fig out the cost.
Which is they use plus an interest rate to fig out lease payments.
