Default 0-60 performance timer

Can someone give me a step by step on how this works before I need a new set of tires. ?

Played with mine a few time, my kid told me you have to hit the reset button even when first time. Im still 50/50 miss. after reset, push back to the left botton of the 4. It's been a few weeks.

Performance Timer: Press p
when Performance Timer is
displayed to enter the menu. Press
p while Set Start Speed is
highlighted then use w or x to
enter the start speed. Press SEL to
save it. Press p while Set End
Speed is highlighted then use w or
x to enter the end speed. Press
SEL to save it. After the start and
end speeds have been entered,
press o to set the Sport display to
the set speeds and the performance
timer is ready to use. On the next
acceleration, the performance time
will record the time. To reset the
timer, highlight Reset on the
performance timer menu and
press SEL.

Aaah ok I missed that section , it's like I need the manual on the heads up display... So much u can do ...im amazed. Thanks
