Had the side windows redone today.
1st pic is 50%..2nd pic is the redo @ 40%
Was probably a waste of time, of which, I have.
In these pics the 50% appears darker, in the car the 40% is darker

Tinting Question?
I'm your newest Z06 neighbor in Cary. I have used Tint World on Maynard in the past for a couple of my cars and have been pleased. Can you tell me who you have used for the Z06? And what brand/type you selected? Are you pleased with your chioce?

35% on mine the day after picked it up. . It's nice in SoCa in the summer in the SF Valley when it's hot. Plus I feel naked when I ride around without tint!
I have a really good guy that's reasonable in the SF Valley if anyone is looking for a tinter. He's done about 10 cars for me and they have always been 10% perfect.

The DSOM is a funny color. Sometimes the evening it looks like clay or brown. I first showed the car to a few friends at dusk and they wondered why in the world I bought a brown car. They saw it in the sun later and completely changed their tune and loved it. Any similar experience?

Stock. Tint reduces visibility at night and I already have enough trouble with that without making it worse. The car sits in the garage a lot so it isn't like it is out in the sun all the time and getting sun faded. As for heat build up when I park it in the sun that is what the AC is for and the car has pretty good AC.
