OK, I can take it. Is this "over the top"?? I really hate when people cheapen up their cars with all those emblems/covers etc. I thought the engine needed some help, as it was really blaaaa. Did I over-do it?
Notice I cleaned off the back fins that were originally black, then sanded off those bumpy lines on the covers. then painted it all using an adhesion promoter for the PPO plastic covers. I ordered the emblem on eBay, dash 650 emblems were $40 each, and those Supercharged ones were cheap. My positioning of the emblems was kinda dictated by the right side with the tubes etc. I wanted them to show.
Also, I've always personalized my cars with some graphics or ? But, this car is really so radical with the Z07 stage 3 aero, etc. I held back and just painted my own hood stinger stripe, w carbon flash. I hated those $500 matt looking decal from the factory.
I don't think it's over the top, if your thought process was to have the hood open at shows. Many people won't see the HP/TQ plaque inside the car, so when they're looking at the engine, they will see the numbers. I would have just went with the HQ/TQ plaque though, since it already says supercharged and then just centered (vertically/horizontally) the HP/TQ plaque.
The supercharged emblems look like they aren't level. Outside of that it's your car, do what you want. Personally I think I'd like them so I wouldn't have to answer every person at a car show. Pop the hood and let them read.
Were the dash emblems flat? Has heat been a Factor with the adhesive? Really looks nice.

They had plastic tabs on the back that I cut off with a razor blade. I then used double stick, also put some 5 minute epoxy in the center of the double stick, as the emblems were con-caved a bit. I believe they would have been fine with just the double stick, but the clear epoxy was some security. Haven't really ran it much yet, can't imagine them melting, etc?
Looks pretty good and it's definitely unique. Also is it just me or do the Supercharged emblems look like the ones you'd find on an older Audi RS model? (Don't worry, they still look good, just wondering)
Just bought these SC emblems on eBay. Will see how close the color is to Laguna Blue....Will post some pictures when I get them put on coil/valve covers. They are 6 inches long by 1 inch
Looks Good! IMO, I would have gone with just one emblem on the covers. The engine bay is definitely very dull and needs some color to brighten it up. I am throwing around a few things myself. I think this has given me some vision as to which direction I'm gonna go.
