If it runs it is way too lean and will melt down. If your running a new Corvette it is not Flexfuel and would need the capacity for over ~25% or 30% more juice.
Anyway, it ran?

I drove abt 50 miles, i felt little less power but smooth drive compared to 91, will drive a few more miles so that i can blend in more 91 regular gas to minimize damage if any, engine temp was abt 200 around 65Deg outside.

Not sure whats going on, Either its a 94 you filled up OR E85?
E85 is more like 105 octane....
And please dont use 91 octane on such a beast.... atleast 93 octane
can't wait to see what European 102 Octane pump gas will do (96 octane your standard R+M/2)
If it's E85 you're going to very likely damage the engine and your warranty will be voided.
I don't 'think' somebody would be dumb enough to put E85 in a car not designed to run it because they are under the misguided impression that it has higher octane and will make their car run better, but I have been wrong in the past.

Keep the engine under 2600-2700 RPM. when you hit half a tank blend it with 93. Get this fuel out of your vehicle as quickly as possible... as in... like do NOT let it sit in there for more than a few days. If you follow these guidelines, your vehicle will be fine.

Stick to what you know in the future.. 91/93...
Thanks for the info, i drove a few miles and blended with 8 gallons of regular 91 grade fuel from shell. No issues so far, will drive a few more miles at lower rpms and top it off with regular fuel.Hope i wont have any issues in future.
Feel so stupid to have made such a blunder
I'm not sure if you put 94 in or E85 though as they are different. The E92 PCMs are populated with flex fuel timing maps; however, you do not have a sensor and thus it is not turned on. While you're not running ideal timing for this and fueling will be off some due to the different stoich value, it is higher octane fuel. Regardless, just stay out of boost and run it out of the tank blending 93 octane if you can to dilute the ethanol content.
For those of you that do have it local and are getting tuned, I highly suggest adding the flex fuel sensor and tuning for it. Boosted cars love the benefits of flex fuel!
I run E85 100% of the time on all of my cars/trucks.

The pic on the pump says FLEX FUEL E85 , i selected 94 grade, So Im assuming its E85 with 94 grade. Im driving at low rpms and blending the tank with regular 91 grade fuel (only 91 grade is available in my area).
You pumped 94 octane unleaded fuel. Not E85. Their sign advertises several high octane levels from 94 to 100 available at the pump. Two rows down in yellow they also advertise E85. There is no such thing as 94 grade E85 which as others have said is comparable to 105 octane, allows very aggressive timing advance and burns cooler. BUT a specific tune is required to allow enough fuel delivery.

Thanks for the info, I guess you are rite the price was also $4.99/gallon (higher than E85), will check with them when i stop by there again, I was confused by all those labels advertised together.
On Z06 gas lid it says 91+ octane, Just curious whats the maximum octane we could use without any tune, I'm assuming 91 to 93 unleaded.
Any thoughts ??
If you filled up 94 octane gas, you will have no problems. Drive how you want.
If you actually filled up E85 on $100k car, please drain it ffs. Just siphon out as much as you can, and fill it up with regular gas! Do not drive this car on E85, you will ruin it.

I think i filled up unleaded 94, i didn't siphon it off, just drove and no issues so far. now i just have 91 in my tank,I don't get 93 grade at my place its 94 and above ,
I'm considering a blend of 94 & 91 , but i need to confirm if can do that without a tune. Don't want to waste any $$ if its no good.

You did get 94 octane, your good.... floor it and enjoy :-)
There is no such thing as E85 94 octane :-)
First post ever.
So what should we run in California? Are we just screwed and have to run 91? I can get Sunoco RMR race fuel at Sonoma raceway, its a 94 octane unleaded but I wouldn't be able to find it on long trips to LA or Seattle? Any ideas

Just run 91 like everyone else that lives in these places and drives these vehicles. It is not going to hurt your car since it was designed to operate on it.
