At the dealer now for 6 hours. They are having issues aligning my car after I lowered it all the way down on stock bolts. Has anyone lowered theirs all the way and have been able to get an alignment? I suspect they are getting ready to tell me they can't get it aligned because I lowered it. Thoughts?
Hope your dealership gets it together and fixes you up totally!
No problems at my excellent dealer. They 4-wheel aligned my new Z in one hour, and my Tech, whom I totally trust, told me that it was initially significantly out of alignment, but was able to get it all excellent when finished. He felt, but was not positive, that as I had only lowered an average of 1/2" per corner (some left yet in factory adjustment bolts), at least some of the adjusting changes needed were due to mine coming out of the factory not properly aligned.
Had a vibration issue with my 2008 Z06 a few years ago. Dealer (and he's a really big one) couldn't fix it. Goodyear tire couldn't and neither could a few other tire dealers.
Finally called Hunter direct, they gave me their "go-to" guy when all else fails. He had the most up to date Hunter gear, AND a guy trained to use it to the fullest. Result was a problem solved.
So, I would say MOST don't know how to balance these huge tires....as they are not easy to get right and align them.
So, search around in your area. Find the best guys you can, and go to him.
If you lived in MA/RI area I could tell who's excellent in aligning and balancing.
I had the exact same problem - after hours and hours the dealership couldnt get the alignment right after lowering all the way on stock bolts. I also insisted on a print out of the alignment machine values, but as a good driver you should be able to feel the alignment settings and how the car behaves, and mine was noticeably off when compared with how it was stock. They eventually raised the car about a quarter inch from the lowest setting and were able to get the alignment very very close to the settings recommended in the owners manual.
Thanks guys I appreciate the responses. They finally said it was in alignment and tracking straight but out of factory spec. Can anyone confirm if caster and camber is adjustable in the front and rear? Thanks again.

What the heck does that mean?
You should always have a before and after alignment sheet printed for you to keep.
This helps so much when explaining issues to others.
Do you have the after alignment printout to scan and post here?
Yes, camber and caster are adjustable on the C7s.
I suspect the rear caster is the problem here. Maybe the dealer doesn't have the rear caster gauge needed for these cars?
Mine is lowered and the tech had no problem. He had the right equipment.
Same thing happened to us. But come to find out the dealer was aligning to the fe4 platform I stead of fe6...but still off. They refunded our money. Here is how they set it uo. We ended up raising it up a little and having a different shop align it.
That's ridiculous! Go to a reputable alignment shop. Not only is my car lowered on stock bolts, they are cut to the top grove. Rory's in AZ aligned it without a problem quickly and with print outs. You should start taking your car somewhere else.
