I was planning on doing headers down the road... Wasn't quite ready to start modding, but if you would like to PM me your best offer i could possibly be nudged down the path of insanity a bit sooner then planned.

Car (Z06) has 2800 miles. In the rain once for about 3 miles. No reason to suspect they look anything other than mint.

I think so and the mid-pipe as well. Worth checking.

Would the heat of applying the coating change or degrade the cats? I heard the stock cats are a metallic matrix inside. The platinum would be unaffected.

I have a ceramic coated corsa x pipe im putting in to replace oem. That will make it sound a lot better. I know on a c7 that ported manifolds and no cats and corsa x pipe the car sounded like a customers car that i had 1 7/8 arh headers put on without cats. Ill call dealer tomorrow to see part numbers on c7 cats vs z06 cats

I'll politely disagree on this statement, especially after personally having both side-by-side; quality was very high and fitment was spot-on with both. The biggest differences were weight, single or double-X, and piping diameter.

I've installed both units. Corsa has a deeper tone due to design. Thats why I set my customers up with them. S borla. But as long as you want a better part both will work

Agreed on the fact that both are good parts, and excellent upgrades over stock!

Did you ever figure out of the catted downpipes are the same between the LT1 and LT4?

I ended up getting a set. I will be also doing something cool on the cat pipes that will keep it flowing well and keeping cats in same location so smog legal. I'll keep everyone updated
