Love the rubber laid down at the start, it's all downhill from there.
Miss my Impala, sold it to a buddy 15 years ago he just past 290,000 miles with it.
Sons ATTITUDE is spot on too!

I don't see any curves. You need some high speed curves like this to really find out what the car is about. You really don't know the feeling of a great car until you can feel it pulling over 1G in a corner on street tires and powering out of the corner from the apex to the track out point:

Well in some rebuttel, pulling over 1. G on launch is very exhilarating as well.
All fun & games until a mechanical failure or mistake puts you into the trees, poles, ditch or other obstruction and then there is the apparently irrelevant bicycle lane sign.

Read first post. We don't race during the day and that bicycle lane is closed after sunset. 20 years on this road and I'll make sure my kids keep it alive and going. Much rather have my 3 sons racing here then drinking and doing drugs on weekends.... then going into a car to drive. I have no problem racing for past 20 years on this road

Btw my buddy had a balljoint snap on freeway and totalled his car. Never hurt street racing or accident racing but normal freeway driving it happened. So something wrong can happen anytime your driving. That being said... I'll be posting some vids as soon as I can get my slicks on and some racing goin

I know it sounds preachy, but as a racer I just don't get doing so on public roads of any kind - I think it is irresponsible and too risky for my blood as I've had mistakes and mechanical issues that have resulted in departures from the pavement. Also, the racers I know don't consider street racing at night to be the only alternative to drinking and doing drugs.
To each their own, and we'll just have to agree to disagree. But you kind of asked for contrary opinions by posting pics of a public road where you "race."
