Default Engine Build plaque?

Take a look at the pic below of my LT4 engine. Toward the front, on top of the intercooler tubes there is an engine builder plaque.

I was at a car show Sat night and there was another Z06 there. His did not have a plaque there, nor even the flat boss to mount it on that is a part of the intercooler tubes. IE his tubes were a different part.

Why the difference?

Z07 have the hand built engines with plaque.
Non Z07's don't have this.

Is yours Z07? And, he was NOT? That is the difference.

Or if you choose the Build Your Own Engine option you will get the plaque.

Running production change? I'll have to look, but I thought my plaque is on the side of the intercooler housing, not the top front as it appears in the picture.

Yes Steve Snake Driver is spot on. Your Z07 is a late build. Earlier Z07's that were assembled in Bowling Green at the PBC had their plaques on the right (passenger side) front of the blower base below the removable top. You nearly need to hold the PCV tubes and harnes out of the way a little to see it.

Or retrofit the front intercooler tubes with the new ones, and remount your plaque. BTW, the parts for this retro are $622.00.
