so what has everyone went to that does not track there car? I see maybe 2 companys that offer tires that will fit-Michelin and continental. Not real happy with 3600 miles and needing tires-no burn outs either.
Thanks

I have non-runflat Continental DW and DWS on other vehicles and like them very much, but they're not sport cars, so I can't speak to handling. Ride, noise, and treadlife are good. Traction in wet is great.
I'm sure the MPSS on a dry, warm day will win, but under less than ideal conditions, the Continentals start to shine.

I run Continentals on my wife’s ‘12 Gran Sport and they are great tires. Hold the road well in all conditions (including rain) and they look like they will deliver excellent wear. They are not a ‘race’ tire but they are a great choice for daily driving. My 2c

My cup2s lasted about 6k miles with a track day. I now have the MPSS run flats and like them for being a good summer / performance tire. Probably get around 12-15k miles on these if you drive fairly hard, but as with any tire without sidewall (less than the cup2s) they suffer traction from a dig.

I think new owners at the 500 mile oil change can request a full on street alignment if they don’t plan on track time to maximize tires.
Under 60 degrees the mpss have poor traction with anything more then light throttle input even on dry days. I drove the cAr yesterday in 40 degree temps on dry pavement in wet mode. Even in that mode it was spinning the tires at anything more then 1/4 throttle even on concrete. I would prefer something along the line of the gatorback tires that came on the 1990 and 1991 zr-1’s. They were great in cold and rainy weather and owners were getting 25 to 35k miles on those.
