I obviously know the Z06 tires are wider than the Z51 tires.
Question is; can Z51 rim hold the Z06 tire.
I am not doing this. I am just looking for the factual answer to this question. Please no guesses or gut feelings. My gut says no but Im asking someone that can officially say.
Thanks.
A
You can go to TireRack.com and look at the Michelin tires you are checking the wheels on, then see the recommended wheel width in the "Spec" section and compare that the wheel widths you are trying to match up.
The quick answer is that Front to Front and Rear to rear - No. Maybe standar C7 rear will be wide enough to mount a C7 Z06 front, but that does not mean the offset will be correct.
OOPS - per other post I neglected that front wheels are 19" and rears are 20" so just plain NO

I would imagine not. The Z06 front tires are the same width as the Z51 rears, except the Z06 fronts are 19 inch tires and the Z51 rear tires are 20 inch tires.

The Z51 has 19/20's as well????
It's the widths and offsets that are the real question
