Default Question on performance traction modes

I just purchased a Z06 without Z07 package. When I open the track performance settings my screen only shows track1 track 2 and race.
The owners manual shows track 1 thru 5 settings. Was wondering what changes on all the settings and also if I needed the Z07 to get all the settings?
Also, I tried the launch control (manual transmission) and the engine revs without stopping...?? I don't see where the software holds the RPM.
Thanks for comments for a newbie.

You should be able to scroll across the screen and see all 5 options with the rotary ****. Also, once you have hi-lighted the option you want, do not hit the center button. That will take you out of PTM. If launch control did not work, most likely you were not in PTM.

All Z06's have all of the PTM options.

Just be sure to push the center button on the rotary know twice quickly once in track mode. You should see the two yellow warning lights come on in the dash and the menu for the different modes come up.

As said before, just twist the **** to select, do not push the button again or it will exit PTM mode.

The most recent Ask Tadge has the most detail. Sticky even.

Thank you XP800, excellent information. Looks like my car has different names for settings but are probably the same electronic modes as described in owners manual.
For the traction control to activate do I need to quickly press throttle to the floor?
Thanks, this is a great forum.

It truly amazes me that people will buy a car with significant features and not read the manual. Every thing you asked about is well detailed in the owners manual. I'd be embarrassed to come on the form and asked stupid questions with out doing my homework first. Flame suit on.

You mean "Launch Control", and you must at a minimum be in Track Competition mode or any of the 5 Performance Traction modes.

For Traction Control to be enabled, be in any of those modes and depress the accelerator quickly, RPM's will raise to just shy of 4000 rpm, then dis-engage clutch.....

Yes, meant launch control. Must be I wasn't depressing accelerator fast enough.

Was nice reading the technical explanation of the track mode settings since the owners manual is written for kids.
