Started the car yesterday afternoon and immediately got a steady engine check light. The DIC also advised me that engine power would reduced. Reset the DIC and attached my code reader--P2227. Barometric pressure sensor. Assuming that is the MAP?? I have started and driven the car several times since then and it runs fine. The DIC never again displayed a reduced power message, but the steady engine check light has stayed on . The car has 12000 miles and it is 100% stock, to include the tune. Did a forum search, and it seems that the only C7 cars that have encountered a P2227 are the Stingrays that have added superchargers. Will take it in on Tuesday for the dealer to figure it out. Any others experience a P2227 code?? Thanks for any inputs

Check your plug wires.Make sure thy are connected at the coil packs first.
Then make sure all the vacuum lines are all OK..the codes don't always point to the exact issue in my experience.
Looking at the codes on any C7 the baro table is used almost exclusively on the VVT or camshaft phasing tuning--Depending on the barometer reading the ECM changes the camshaft timing--- Most of the changes are minimal however at WOT the timing changes go to close to "0"--- It sounds like it may be a false code due to some glitch---I've tuned dozens of C7's and have never seen this code-- I would have it cleared and if it does not re-appear--then most likely it was a false trigger
PS: I have see other false trigger codes on my car and was worried at 1st as it went into reduced power mode--But I shut it down and everything was fine and went away -- then I cleared them when I got home and they never came back---

2016 C7 Z06 34K miles - got the reduced power DIC message and check engine light on 11/21/17 while on a road trip through Zion National Park. Contacted OnStar, asked for the CEL code, and was told P2227. Drove back to Las Vegas without incident cruising 75 mph (no limp mode). Googled the problem and found that an updated software calibration has been released to address this issue. The Engine Control Module (ECM) software needs to be reprogramed with latest service calibration. https://gm.oemdtc.com/6164/malfuncti...t-corvette-z06
