Formatto ram air intake duct
Just want to say thanks to jeremy for answering my questions and I ended up going with his ram air intake duct. Will supply more air to the box and at crushing speed brings in much more to the intake since you will be forcing air in. I'll keep you guys In the loop

And just what exactly is "crushing speed"? Is that something which comes with the 3LZ package or is it only available as an aftermarket option?

The real challenge is getting the "pressurized air charge" to the air cleaner without obstacles and leaks-- it's a real SOB.

if you call it anything it's a cold air intake, rather even better named "Ambient Air Intake."
even so, I would be amazed to find any change at all in IATs with a tube despite what the manufacturer posts say about it (they are the worst source).

there is no pressure generated I promise you. there are many tests regarding "ram air."

I went to great lengths to seal mine though, and my testing is still ongoing. I will say that so far, my car has sped up from a best of 10.47 in -350DA air (without the "ram air"), to a best of 10.39 in +250DA air (with the "ram air"), so far...same track.

I would have to totally agree, I call it an ambient air delivery as well, since it is not sealed... not even close.

How about the mph for each?
I assume both runs were at the same track and in the same lane with the same tail or head wind, etc? Did you record the wind speed or the da for each run at the starting line or pull it off the internet later? How about the tire pressure front and rear? One psi can make a difference especially when we are picking nits.
Having bracket raced NHRA and IHRA Super Stock divisional and national events for the last 20 years I can tell you for sure those two runs are within a margin of error especially with all variables considered and if a ram air tube worked it would need to be well outside that.

Now don't get me wrong I'm not picking on you, I appreciate you posting all your results, I can't even make it to the track and I'm worried I've missed the good air. I'm just picking on the ram air concept in general.
