Default Two bone stock Z's at Beech Bend 1/4 mile times

Was at Beech a Bend this weekend and watched two Laguna Blue Z's make several passes. Best for one was 10:68 @ 131. Second was 10:73 @ 129.
Both had some wheelspin at launch but still ran strong #'s.
Owners said launch was in track mode with t/c off and left from an idle.
Pretty impressive if you ask me. Both A8.

Freaking outstanding!

Since your thread says that they were both bone stock I assume you can you confirm 100% that they were both running on the bone stock tires they left the factory with?

Awesome!
Seems we had a little drought with 1/4 mile times. Can't wait to see if anyone tops BigNasty's time.

I ran the 10.68 in the very last round of qualifying Saturday night. Friday qualifying was rained out so all 3 sessions had to be packed into Sat along with all the other classes and the ~160 cars running true street. I couldn't get traction during the first 2 sessions so I left the nannies on to make sure it didn't spin on my last chance. The Air was good Sat night and it could have gone quicker than the 10.68 if I had the chance to make more runs.

Both of the cars are bone stock.

Time to update the sig...

Great times. Congrats. Confused on SLW's statement stating that t/c was off and Spindoctor saying the nannies were on.
Inquiring minds want to know

T/c was off for all the passes except my last chance to qualify. The car didn't spin but who knows how much the nannies slowed it down? Race conditions don't allow the advantages of testNtune.

Did you decide not to use Launch Control for a reason?
After reviewing the PDR videos for my passes, leaving TC on, and leaving from idle, in D, seems to produce the best traction. Would be interested in your thoughts on Launch Control.

In a little better air, that car would have been in the 10.5's at probably over 131 mph on PSS's.
