Default Comp seat issue

Ok so at the dealer for a third time an the rep is sayin the third could be worse as far as wrinkles an that a gm has to come out wens to give the ok.its pretty obvious when the other seat is near perfect an the other looks like iv been storing dumbells on it,still tryn to tell me it has to be worn in??was my other seat worn in??i dont get it how can one be perfect an the two other be messed up,it just blows my mind how hard this is becoming.ontop of that i need a whole new trunk lid that i had posted on another thread that had missing blotches of paint when you looked in the rear mirror.smh maybe im just to dam pickey but sheesh

The seat cover does not need to be worn in as you said. It might look that way after its well worn in, but not when new. It makes you wonder if the parts that don't pass QC end up as replacement parts.

The hatch isn't acceptable either. I wouldn't want to look at peeling paint or powder coat either even if I couldn't see it in the mirror. I'm not sure how they're made, but too bad if the inside trim is a not a separate piece.

Good grief! That seat is ridiculous. And how the hell does that deck lid get through QC? Obviously someone just didn't care. OP, I don't blame you one bit for being pissed.

It has now been a week an a half tommorw.i also had a oil change, rotation, alignment an shifter adj,is this to long??its seems the shifter adj would take a dealer an hour maybe 2 hours an the rest can be done within a cuple hours as well aside from the deck lid swapout an seat cover so why do they have to get a manager to look at it its not rocket science GM.

Dude that is awful, my car had some of the same issues. When I talked to GM executive office they acted like no big issue. We will fix it as long as of is in warranty. Just have issues with your car and see how they respond like your stuck with car, get over it. They don't seem to care now that they have made money off car. Higher price lower quality.
GM just doesn't care period.

If anybody does the factory tour they need to ask why they got rid of the Quality Control inspectors. I am amazed at the level of product quality that gets out of that plant. If more people would refuse delivery at the dealer the plant might get the message. This should not be happening on such an expensive car.

The $2,000 option was well worth it. Everyone on the Forum says the seats are wonderful and couldn't ask for anything better. What are they going to look like a year from now?

I just called by the rep an he said they have a guy who uses a steamer to settle the wrinkles so maybe thats what they ll do when they start looking like doo doo.for the record i love my comp seats an id rather ride with wrinkles then drive the normal seats but when the seat next to it is completely perfect an the other is not its like come on man you know this isnt acceptable i have hi hopes that their "special" guy can work magic on my car.
