2016 Performance Timer?

Those of you with a A8 2016 Do you have access to this timer? I have the display on the screen but no access to start it? see page 100 of the attached to see what I am talking about. Thanks.

My car does NOT have the option that says Timer? I use the steering wheel to scroll through the different applications, I have every display/application except The PERFORMANCE Timer or LAP Timer? anyone here with a 2016 A8 that can tell me if this works on there car. It may have been left off for 2016? But if so why did GM leave the timer display on the screen and put it in the 2016 owners manual? Our 16's don't have it there, but if you have the PDR it is one of the parameters of the track/time display.
