Default Brake pulsating?

Hey guys,

I have been noticing some brake pulsating the last few weeks. I had my dealer inspect the rotors on my (non-Z07) C7Z and they are in perfect condition. You only feel the pulsating in the brake pedal and it is definitely faster with speed, which makes me think it has to be the rotors? Has anyone else experienced this or does anyone have any ideas or thoughts? I understand that they are high performance brakes but I don't think that I should have to deal with jerky stops either.

Thoughts. Thanks!

Yes sir twice. Once in the Stingray. Once in the Z06.
Dealer replaced the rear rotors each time under warranty. After I insisted it was the rotors and I refused to let them turn the rotors. The problem was resolved when the new rotors where installed.

Ok, thanks. Did they find a faulty rotor or replace all 4?

I've noticed the same thing when quickly braking from higher speeds, say 100+ mph.

Each time they replaced both rotors on the rear axle together.

Thats how it starts. Slightly noticeable at very high speeds. Gradually gets worse over time and the worse it gets, the speed at which it becomes noticeable will decrease.

Took about 3-5k miles after I noticed it at about 110mph to become noticeable enough at 80 mph to where I could demonstrate it to the service tech. They put the micrometer on them and agreed with my diagnosis. I am sure the micrometer would have picked it up initially but I wanted to be able demonstrate it to them without question on the first visit.

It never got to the point where it was noticeable when the brakes weren't being applied. Which was a dead giveaway that it was the rotors. Also no shimmy in the steering wheel indicates its likely the rear rotors and visa versa.

Thanks guys. I'm guessing that mine is in the rear as well since I can only feel it in the brake pedal and not the steering wheel.
