"Okay GM had set 11/9 for your production week..as I learn more I will be in touch..thanks.."
Well, seeing as I signed the papers, placed down payment, gave my trade, and everything else to order in August... All I have to say is it's about ****ing time!
Goober sales team didn't even put the order in the system until after September 15th.... They told me it was due to "awaiting signatures" or some ********.

Worst ever.
They were probably awaiting the Z06 allocations. I put my order in the on Sept 1st with my dealer, but there were no allocations for Z06's until Sept. 17th.
Mine was built on 10/19 and is currently on a train in Illinois coming to me in California.
I agree, it's probably an allocation issue. I placed an order on Oct. 6th. and mine goes into production the week of Nov. 16th. Upfront the dealership told about their next allocation window coming on Oct. 19th.
Count your blessings. I put in an order last September and got the car this March. It was a long wait but worth it. I got my dealers first allocation it just took forever. He got 2 more in after mine but the wait was killing me! Your dealer is at the mercy of GM.

sorry to hear that , we enter the orders the day we get them and email the PDF to confirm....
Congrats on the order being accepted....you'll love it!
I don't think it's due to allocation, this dealer for some reason moves a lot. Sands Chevrolet. They have had 4 move through the dealership since I ordered mine.
The fact that I had to tell the sales man (who never sold a Vette before, ever) that I want the damn update of the order, what's the status, holdup reason yada yada... And got nothing because he said "dealing with the lady at the counter is a pain in the *** and nobody likes talking to her".
This is by far the worst sales team I have ever dealt with.
Thay may not have had an allocation on August 27th. On Sept. 10th there were no Z06 allocations given out, and the next time there were any was on Sept. 17th.
Are you at 2000 or higher now? Check with Chevy Chat and if so, you will be fine. If you are still at 1100 then you need to get a better dealer. Trust, but verify.

Your order was almost certainly not placed to GM until the October 8 order window. Cars ordered that week are being assigned production dates the week of November 9. If they had four Z06s ordered and delivered after you ordered, then something is wrong somewhere.
