Saw one by a vendor being put on at BG over Labor Day. I have his card. Is called WindRestrictor. Price was 1/2 of GM's. Thought about it, but price for it was bit much to me. I don't notice the wind much with top down.
So I ordered the OEM model. Requires drilling and twice the $$. The " wind restrictor " brand uses adhesive. Takes 5 minutes to install and some improvement in wind noise.
Buy a convertible and then be concerned with "wind noise".
Get a coupe or keep the top up then!
I agree. Time you add wind screen you may as well save a ton of money and get the coupe. Plus gain lots more trunk space. Put the money in the bank or better yet more go fast parts.

Drive a 911 turbo cab ( if you can afford one ) and you'd see the difference in cabin noise.
Just sayin' you could mock it up with a piece of cardboard to see what the wind difference is like before ponying up $1000 bucks to find out "not much difference".
In my M3 I have the flip-up screen and it makes a HUGE difference, but it's a bigger cabin.
And to the haters, does it bug you that I don't want the stream of cool AC air from the vent on a hot day disturbed by turbulence? Too bad. That's how I roll.
By the logic above it makes no sense to wear sunglasses on a sunny day, because hey, you wanted the sun!
