I wanted to ask too, but I am new to corvettes so I thought that it was an obvious answer to corvette experts.

I've been using an altimeter in my cars for years. It's included in my Garmins. Not really needed to get from point A to point B, but interesting to use. When I'm watching my instantaneous gas mileage, I use it to see if I'm driving on level round. If I'm in the mountains(Colorado, New Mexico, etc.) it's neat to check the altitude that I'm at.
I can think of a bunch of items that are in our car's that are not needed for everyday driving, but we like them anyway.

Where did you get it? How much did you pay for it? How accurate is it? Why front and rear?

Suspension on the Z is not THAT good, it does get airborne from time to time during spirited driving.

lol, best answer. This has to be the only reason to go through the trouble of buying and installing something that free phone aps can do.
