Default Halltech with mid-pipe?

I have the Halltech intake and I know it requires no tune to run safely and yield hp gains. I'm considering a Borla or Corsa mid-pipe for a little more sound. Can I still be safe without a tune? (Cat-delete involved)

When you say "no tune needed", I assume that means you've checked the AFRs after installing the intake and mid-pipe??

The car is not tuned i am trying to see how far i can go without tuning,i have a 75 shot of nitrous and it makes 695rwhp,791 rwtq but i smoked the clutch at the track i now have a rps twin disc in it breaking it in for track rental mid december.i keep an eye on my afm with a torque ap and we use a wideband on the dyno.car runs great in 95 degree weather i cant wait till it gets cooler here.car also has a dewitts rad ,fasterproms intercooler tank and 180 therm the key to these cars making power is keeping it cool on the dyno you can loose 50 hp in back to back runs, the dyno runs had 115 degree intake air temps, imagine the hp in 50 degree weather!

I've got the Corsa Extreme exhaust with the Double Helix X-pipe along with the aFe throttle body spacer and the Halltech CAI.

I've never had a code thrown. The sound is fantastic! When in Eco Mode and in 7th gear, you still get "Stealth" mode. Obviously, it's not a quiet as stock, but not loud either. But I love the sound of the Corsa Extreme. It gives you more than the stock exhaust. But you hear it more all the time than you do with the stock exhaust.
