I've done this on my 32 Ford and my traded Roush rims. Figured I might as well give a try on the Z06.

Basically, I use a foam brush and "fill" the recessed lettering and the area around it. Then I use a straight edge that I wrap tightly with a paper tower that is damp with mineral spirits to scrape the rim. The result is the paint stays in the recessed letters and is wiped off the rest of the rim.

No clear. Just Rustoleum sunrise red enamel. In the past I would need to redo the paint about once a year or, if I was taking a car to an important show.
I assume the center caps are removable. If they are, I will take the rims off sometime and line up the emblem with the Z06.
