I've done some searching and reading and I've come across a few different things. Car currently has a haltech intake. Future mods are the innovators west 18% pulley, kooks long tubes, and a flex fuel setup. My question is if the stock fuel system enough to run e85? It'll be 100% e85 at times.
No. Fuel system cannot support it without at a minimum upgading/added in-tank pumps and arguably a bigger mechanical injection pump (according to the engineer)
Just think of an otherwise stock Z06 being able to run some amount of e85 keeping her cold on all the tracks, and also being capable of sub 10s 1/4 miles.
3 gallons is ~16% so if it was treated as being mixed with e85 that -DA headroom would be more than covered.
There is a tuner in Scottsdale AZ I believe who is with EFIlive? that has shown us some work he did in tuning with and without Torco who would be great to set this up for somebody. He tunes to the extent of smoothing a happy engine using a rough image. Really cool! I would love to see him knock this thing out. Blk6speedZ06? He gets into it and was fun to follow.
This might not be the best scenario for some tuners, but, I sure would love to see it, since, it would take care of a lot of ills!

We have a ton of e85 experience w/ these car's, we also make a fuel system for them when the stock low side can't keep up. Sold to plenty of shop's w/ 100% success rate to date, also in term's of AZ we hold the record for highest hp c7, half mile record, and first to hit 10's back when these are still hard to get (C7 non z) Any questions please feel free to ask.

I originally heard shops were doing that with the C7, but, I haven't been seeing it around. They/you have been supplementing with an alky methanol system, which, definitely isn't as cool in a newer car, IMO. Flexfuel plain and simple even with a second set of EFI injectors and stuff if need be! (*The State Of The Art!)

I guess I would have to question the Engineer since Jeremy Formatto seemed to coax 700+RWHP out of his stock fuel system on E85 while running 9's @ 140MPH!

His car was not 100% e85 he had to mix 93 with it to have enough fuel for his mods.

It can run on 91 alone!
Or
It can run on 100% alcohol!!!
How maybe that could dynamically go?
A 0%-100% sensor!
E85 filled and a "ON/OFF" methanol fuel headroom system that supplements all the way to that theoretical 100%. "All being absolutely Automatic less the tank fill-ups, and therefore Flexfuel!
Guys!!! Take it from me there will be tuners out there who will give you some kind a half-*** setup even up to blowing up your cars! Be careful and keep your cars !!
