You don't need seat covers if you get in the car properly. Sit first and then swing in your legs, follow GM seat care recommendations and the seat skins will last a very long time.
I'm not going to cover up great looking seats and save them for the next guy. If they end up showing some wear at some point, I will just have a fresh set of leather covers put on.

Seems silly to cover such nice seats, whether comp or GT.
Speaking of towels, I do use old bath towels to protect the seats from my sweaty body when I'm doing some vehicle detailing during our 100+days of 90°humid weather we get in the summer. That's about the only time I'll cover them.
Thanks, I have used these in the past on my C5 and C6. Was not sure if they would slip over the Competition seats. I checked some previous posts and apparently they will work.😀
